Kosmos der Ideen [2018]

The GWA Junior Agency Award 2018 identity is all about "cosmos of ideas" – each of the different planets symbolizes one university with its individual idea in case of the competition.

The GWA Junior Agency is Germany’s most ambitious university competition for marketing communication. Marketing and design students from various universities have worked together with advertising agencies since 2002 to develop communication solutions and campaigns for real customers and challenges for one semester. The agencies support and coach the process: from research to strategic planning to creative implementation, the students get to know various disciplines and tasks of a communication agency. The highlight is the GWA Junior Agency Day. Here, all teams come together at a host university and present their ideas and solutions to a jury in a 25-minute pitch. The jury of agency managers corporate marketing experts, professors and journalists rate the presentations and awards the junior in gold, silver and bronze.

This year the GWA junior agency day took place at the campus of our University – HS Düsseldorf. We did the whole Corporate Design for the event. Naming, Branding, Logo, Merchandise and Animation. The corporate identity is all about „cosmos of ideas“ – each of the different planets symbolizes one university with its individual idea in case of the competition. The planets are moving and morphing, which shows the intersection of different solutions. The white frame stands for the university context, in which the whole competition takes place. In the end, all competitors have the chance to create the best idea and become the brightest planet in our cosmos of ideas.
